Depending on the number of compressors, the 40-ton water-cooled chiller is available in two models: a 4-compressor model or a 2-compressor model. The compressors are scroll compressors, employing a new technology – an air-floating exhaust valve. When the system load changes, the air-floating exhaust valve automatically adjusts, avoiding hard friction and effectively reducing compressor noise. This lowers the chiller's noise level by 1-2 decibels. All water pumps are silent stainless steel centrifugal pumps, with impellers featuring flexible shaft connections and shock-absorbing springs. Finally, high-quality mechanical seals and sealing rings further reduce pump noise by 1-2 decibels compared to ordinary pumps.

A: In industrial chillers, the compressor accounts for 80% of power consumption. Kansa chillers use brand-name high-efficiency compressors and environmentally friendly R401A refrigerant, whose cooling capacity per unit solvent is 40% higher than R22. Therefore, the system's overall heat transfer characteristics are greater than R22, resulting in higher heat transfer efficiency and a CEP ratio as high as 3.28, approximately 5% higher than R22 of the same horsepower.
